Man hands himself in over Mansfield fiery crash in regional Victoria that injured elderly couple

A man has handed himself in over a fiery crash in regional Victoria in which an elderly couple ran off the road.

The couple were travelling on Mansfield-Woods Point Road in Mansfield about 11.15am on Thursday when a black Toyota LandCruiser towing a bright green ski boat overtook them.

The couple’s vehicle, a red LandCruiser towing a Scenic Galaxy caravan, then left the road.

It burst into flames.

A 73-year-old man who was driving and his 71-year-old female passenger, both from Weir Views, suffered “serious injuries” and were airlifted to hospital.

They remain in hospital in a serious but stable…
