Men with machete try to break in to Seabrook house in Melbourne

A woman has held her front door closed to try and stop machete-wielding men from breaking into her home in Melbourne’s southwest.
At about 4.40am on February 22, two masked males approached the St Anthony Court home in Seabrook.
They tried to break into the home and were confronted by a man who lived at the home.
One of the masked men hit the man with a weapon believed to be a machete, leaving him with a big laceration.

The offenders tried again to break into the house, but the female occupant then held the door closed.
She managed to hold it for long enough that the men ran off through parkland heading toward Skeleton…
